Become a Published Author!
Do you love to write stories? Want to bring your own imagination to life with your own illustrations?
In this 6-week class, students age 5 to 11 will have the opportunity to write and illustrate their very own books. Over the course of the class, they will explore writing personal narratives, poems, or essays, and learn basic grammar, structure, and style. Students will also dive into different art techniques to bring their stories to life visually. With over 30 years of teaching experience, the instructor has guided many young writers to become published authors. By the end of the course, each student will have a published book to call their own!
Dates: Wednesdays – June 18th, 25th; July 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd
Plus an Author’s Party when our books arrive! Date TBA
Tuition: $130 + $20 for publishing kits
